Fear of Rejection - Writers Can't Afford This Fear

Fear of rejection is a major obstacle facing aspiring writers who have conquered their fear of failure. It is heartening to see so many people who have begun writing online. A lot of them who write, need to make improvements in their writing skills.
Those who are serious about their writing will do what is needed to upgrade their skills.

The real worry is those writers who are actually very good but are afraid to write online because of their fear of rejection. How will the world know you are a writer if you are afraid to write?

The great Sachin Tendulkar was turned away by the Australian legend Dennis Lillee when he turned up at MRF pace foundation to become a fast bowler. If Sachin had been dejected by that rejection, the world would have missed the greatest batsman ever. Fortune favors the brave.

So, it is important to take the first few steps in writing with the mental preparation to absorb the pain of a few rejections. The world is starved of good writers and you owe it to them. So, shed the timidity and step forward to claim your niche in life. The world is waiting.

Lot of writers, when they are shown links to genuine writing sites are reluctant to join up and the reasons they give out are revealing. They ask whether these sites pay at all, are they genuine, the rates promised are unbelieavable ...etc. Tell them there is a small quiz and they will simply clam up. Why should good writers be afraid of a small test of their English skills? Then the usual excuses like 'I am a lazy writer', 'I am too busy with my job or home'...well, the excuses become more innovative.

There are bound to be rejections and failures but which career is a bed of roses? So here are referral links to 3 writing sites which are genuine and pay in time. I am giving out these links because I don't want to miss out on my right ful claim that these writers who can go on to become the next Arundhati Roy, Salman Rushdie or Vikram Seth were shown the way by me. So, allow me my moment of glory by strangling the fear and embracing online writing.

One is a discussion forum where the effort is minimal, the payment is less but the learning is enormous. The important aspect is the fun element. MyLot is a very good site for those who want to simply post a few lines and experience the thrill of getting an immediate response from somewhere in this world.

The second is iWriter, for those who are good but want to earn more and are willing to take on assignments from anywhere in the globe. The third one is C-C which is for those who are genuine, original content writers who want to earn big and have no limitations to their earnings. Writing original content is no big deal, trust your writing skills and you will find success, faster than you expect.

At the risk of sounding cliched, it must be said ' Winners Never Quit and Quitters Never Win. For more details about these sites I have written a guest post, to go there click here and look for 'Three Sites That Pay You to Write'
